What you described though makes me wonder if your Java console has been upgraded. Some computers do upgrade automatically but some don't... I would check for updates or upgrades for your java program.. that may be the problem.

Richard, what browser do you use... some, such as Firefox has ad ons that will block pop ups and so forth. I have had to modify my add on commands before to stop such problems. Internet Explorer hates Ning sites... It will also block the loading of pages, and is somewhat slower than Firefox as well... Perhaps I can help you with this problem though. I do hope so.

Richard, What exactly happens when YOU try to answer your inbox messages? I have not found the problem here. Please please send a Help request to: helpcenter@ning.com and let them know your problem as well as the network where you are experiencing the problem.. (The network the problem is on)

Internet Explorer is not able to read the site's scripting properly and much of the beauty of this site is lost when using it. That is one of the many reasons I suggest using Firefox, the safer viewing browser.

The York Paranormals Now has 1,092 members, 81 groups. We just keep getting bigger and better too!!! We even have our stores up and running strong.. They are Lapis Lazuli's and Cafe Press... Both are here to keep the sites up, and open to all! Life is good!
